2. Reagent 1: Human factor X. Reconstitute with exactly 6.0 mL sterile water. Vortex until complete dissolution of contents. Leave for 30 min at room temperature (18–25 °C). Vortex occasionally, and mix before use. Stabilize reagent temperature on analyzer for at least 30 min before use. Stable for 72 h at 2–8 °C, 24 h at room temperature (18–25 °C). May be frozen once only, but use within 5 h of thawing.

3. Reagent 2: Activation reagent, contains FIXa, thrombin, calcium, and phospholipids . Reconstitute with 6.0 mL sterile water. Vortex until complete dissolution of contents. Leave for 30 min at room temperature (18–25 °C). Vortex occasionally, and mix before use. Stabilize reagent temperature on analyzer for at least 30 min before use. Stable for 72 h at 2–8 °C, 24 h at room temperature (18–25 °C). May be frozen once only, but use within 5 h of thawing.
